Uncharted 5? Never without the consent and approval of Naughty Dog as creators

Uncharted 4 Creative Director Neil Druckmann talks about the future adventures of Nathan Drake.

A few weeks after the premiere of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, many are the media that are having access to the different artists after long-awaited production. The American media GamesRadar, for example, has not messed with little girls and wanted to know the opinion of the creative director of the fourth part, Neil Druckmann, about a hypothetical Uncharted 5. The only thing that seems clear is that a hypothetical fifth would never have Naughty Dog behind.

"I would be eager to play it if it were to make a great game; I would love to play an Uncharted that I haven't worked on. I think it would be a lot of fun," Druckmann confessed. He guaranteed that a new Uncharted will never exist without the consent of the company: "Obviously, we are a large part of the fact being the creators of the franchise, so we would make sure that those in charge are able to capture the essence properly."

In any case, the solution is simple for the artist: "If there is a studio capable of doing it, great. Failing that, Uncharted 4 will be the last chapter." The new chapter in the Nathan Drake franchise, Uncharted 4, launches exclusively for PlayStation 4 next May 10.
