Uncharted 4 is delayed again, this time for another month
Nathan Drake's new adventure will be released on April 27, 2016 as Naughty Dog has just announced.
Neil Druckmann himself has made it public through the official PlayStation blog, and has done so with a detailed explanation of the reasons that led to Naughty dog to make this decision. The long-awaited Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is delayed just over a month.
It is our biggest Uncharted, and the team has been working incredibly hard. "Let's start with the good news: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is in the last stages of production and it seems that Nathan Drake is taking the form that we had promised ", explains one of the main creative managers of the project. "The bad news is that we need a little more time to finish the game completely and to meet our standards and our vision for it. Let's get to the point: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has a new release date on the PAL region and is April 27, 2016 (UK will be April 29) ".
"It's our biggest 'Uncharted,' and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of shutting down game development on time. In any case, as we have approached deadlines and started to go closing the levels of the game, we realized that many key sequences needed additional resources to get them to the goal, "he continues. "After carefully considering all of our options, we decided extend our plans, to make sure we were able to polish a few details before presenting our “gold master” (the final album to be produced).
"It was not an easy decision delay the release date, and we would not do it if we did not believe in our hearts that it is best for the game. We hope that you, our most loyal fans, accept our sincere apologies. We know that many of you are patiently waiting for the final chapter of Nathan Drake, and now we humbly ask you to wait a little longer, "says Druckmann after providing the date of release that supersedes the previous one, set until today. March 18 and that, we insist, is the April 27, 2016.
