A fan recreates Diddy Kong Racing with the Unreal Engine 4
It is the work of CryZENx, who in the past did the same with Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Twenty years after its original release date, a hobbyist has decided to recreate the classic Diddy Kong Racing Nintendo 64 using the tools of the Unreal Engine 4. This is CryZENx, which in the past has already done a similar job adapting the great The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to the Epic Games graphics engine.
Still in its early stages of development, CryZENx has shared a few images showing what the project looks like. It has not yet been specified which characters will be available or if we will be able to race on some of the circuits of the classic Nintendo 64, or will create completely new ones.
For now, the person in charge of bringing Diddy Kong Racing to UE4 has confirmed that he will present the first video of this project in the coming days. Eager to try the game? At the moment, there has been no specific date for this.
