Ubisoft details Ghost Recon Wildlands Special Operation 2

Available on July 24, it includes exciting new features for PvP and PvE.

The already complete Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is preparing to receive what will undoubtedly be the largest content update to date: the special operation 2. Ubisoft has announced that it will introduce the Ghost War mode in the PvP side of the program, and the Ghost Mode in relation to PvE, as well as a collaboration with the great Rainbow Six: Siege. These free content can be downloaded on July 24.

Ghost Mode brings a new veneer of difficulty and realism to the open war against the Santa Blanca cartel: it will have permanent death, friendly fire, deactivatable AI allies, and a new way of handling weapons and ammunition. Thus, it only allows one primary and one secondary weapon to be carried. If you reload the weapon, the remaining bullets from the previous magazine will be lost. Do you want to change weapons? You will have to upgrade your equipment by looting corpses or from a cache.

Ghost War welcomes an observer mode, leaderboards to track your progress in the league, a new customization screen, new elements such as gestures and voice lines to communicate in the game, and two multiplayer maps. Year 2 Pass holders will also be able to get hold of a couple of new classes for PvP.

The first Ghost Recon Wildlands Special Operation introduced Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher on a themed mission this past April. On this occasion, it will be the Rainbow Six agents who visit the lands of Bolivia. You can watch a short video preview below, although it will be July 23 when all the news will be publicly revealed.
