The Last Guardian "will live up to expectations"
Shuhei Yoshida, head of PlayStation, acknowledges that there are "many people waiting for him."
Team ICO is already putting the finishing touches to his long-awaited The Last Guardian, and since Sony There has been talk through Shuhei Yoshida about whether or not he will live up to expectations.
"Yes, of course," Yoshida answered firmly when asked about this possibility. "I have full confidence in the vision of the Team ICO team in general and Fumito Ueda in particular. We are excited to finally present it, this title had to come out."
"There are many people waiting for it, and I hope that all those people enjoy it when it is in stores," Yoshida told the Gameswelt portal, before talking about the complexity of its development. "It took much longer than expected, especially when we decided we should move it from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4. A lot of the programming had to be done from scratch, and that contributed to its long wait. Now the team is looking forward to showing it. We don't want to. gut anyone's story, so we're not going to teach too much. We want people to finally enjoy the video game'.
