Stuart Whyte, ex Lionhead Studios, joins Sony London

He will work in Sony's virtual reality area. He was also on Bullfrog.

New signing for the offices of Sony Interactive Entertainment in London: Stuart whyte, former director of Lionhead Studios, will enter the British offices of the Japanese firm next Monday. His new job will be to lead virtual reality operations and developments for the London team.

Whyte, who has already gone through studies such as Microprose, Supermassive or the mythical Bullfrog, lost his job last April, at which point Microsoft confirmed the closure of the company after the franchise fable. Many workers have been joining other companies since then.

The ex of Lionhead has assured the GamesIndustry portal that "I am very much looking forward to joining the London team to lead them on their way to becoming the leading triple A virtual reality team." It is likely that Sony present new virtual reality video games at the upcoming E3 2017. PS VR premiered last November.
