Square Enix confirms differences between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions of Star Ocean 5

Resolution, frame rate and different graphic changes to make it possible for its premiere in the previous generation of Sony.


Square enix has specified new details about the launch of Star Ocean: Integrity & Faithlessness on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 and has confirmed what will be the differences between both versions. The most interesting, those of resolution and rate of images per second; that of PlayStation 4 will have 1080p and 60fps, while that of PlayStation 3 remains at 720p and 30fps.


Of course, there will be different technical and graphical improvements in the version of the game on the current generation console. In order to have a decent experience on PlayStation 3, the Japanese publisher behind the JRPG of Tri-ace he wanted to take care of some details of said version. The DualShockers portal has captured part of Square Enix's demo of the game today.


Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is coming to Japan next march 30. We will have to wait a few months to enjoy it in Europe, since its launch is confirmed, but a date for the software has not yet been specified.
