Square Enix opens new studio in Tokyo run by Hajime Tabata

The director of Final Fantasy XV will work on new triple A video games.

Square enix has opened a new studio in the city of Tokyo that responds to the name of Luminous Productions. It will be directed by the main person in charge of Final Fantasy XV, the veteran Hajime tabata, and will focus its efforts on creating triple-A video games for a global audience.


The new Square Enix studio, which has not announced any specific games, will strive to create "innovative games and other entertainment content" for a wide audience.
