Squadron 42 reveals its playability in more than an hour of gameplay
This is the individual campaign that will accompany Star Citizen.
As if the Star Citizen project wasn't ambitious enough on its own, Robert Space Industries advance the work done with Squadron 42 in a video demonstration lasting over an hour, covering the pre-alpha development phase of this campaign mode that can be purchased separately. The video takes us directly aboard an Idris frigate from where the team begins a rescue mission in an abandoned lunar station.
Although the space simulator is taking its time, this demo helps to feel the progress of RSI in the game. However, today the alpha 3.0 version is released in its persistent world counterpart, which consolidates a good part of the mechanics that the final game will have when it is released. There is still no firm date for the arrival of Squadron 42.
