Sony will release a new version of PlayStation VR this year
The Japanese will be able to get hold of it in a few days; its date in the West has not materialized.
One year after landing in stores around the world, Sony prepares the launch of a new version of PlayStation VR that will improve the design and some features of the virtual reality glasses of PS4.
"More comfortable, simpler", is the promise that gives rise to this revision of PlayStation VR that responds to the name of CUH-ZVR2 and brings subtle changes in the skeleton of the device. From the outset, the Japanese report, a headphone port has been added to the back of the virtual reality glasses so that the wiring of the stereo headphones is perfectly integrated into the structure of the device.
Sony also confirms that the cable connecting the PlayStation VR to the processor unit is now thinner. The device also integrates support for HDR. When does this new version of PS VR go on sale? On October 14 it reaches Japanese stores while its launch in the West has not yet been completed.
