Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD Remaster will be playable on PS4 as well as Nintendo Switch
The Japanese public already has a launch date, a special edition and a broadcast on the way.
Among the most prominent announcements of the recent Nintendo Direct Mini we find Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD Remaster, a version with updated graphics of the beloved JRPG from 2003. As is evident, in this framework only a version for Nintendo Switch has been announced, but if you visit the official website of the game in Japan you will find that it is also scheduled to launch on PS4. This is not yet formally confirmed for our territory.
In fact, although in the West we have to settle for a "spring 2021" launch window, Japanese fans have a few more details. Atlus will bring the remastering to the Land of the Rising Sun on October 29 (on both consoles), with a standard and special edition, most interesting.
The latter will cost around 110 euros to change and will include a copy of the game, a special 106-page magazine, a CD with 37 tracks, a double disc with reimagined piano music, an aromatic diffuser and a special box. There are no clues about a possible release of this edition for Europe and America, at least for now.
Apart from this, on July 23 at 12:30 (Peninsular Spain time) we will be able to see the game in action in a broadcast special, although note that it has only been announced for Japan and therefore it is very likely that no localization resources will be provided for viewers in other countries. We remind you, on the other hand, that a new trailer and launch details for Shin Megami Tensei 5 have also been presented.
