Resident Evil 7 surpasses 5 million games sold

Capcom's horror video game is already the fourth best-selling episode of the saga.

Capcom has announced that the excellent Resident Evil 7 has surpassed 5.1 million games sold worldwide, thus becoming the fourth most successful episode of the Resident Evil saga to date.

With the most recent data, the horror adventure that confronts us with the Baker family has surpassed a classic of the franchise, the memorable Resident Evil 2, now having a fantastic Resident Evil 4 that to date has sold 7 million of copies. This is surpassed by RE6 and RE5, which accumulate sales of 8.4 million and 10.6 million respectively.

The new sales data for Resident Evil 7 reveal that Capcom's video game has sold nearly 300,000 units in the first three months of 2018, which is a great figure for a survival horror that months ago released the Not a Hero DLC.
