Rare reserves three unannounced expansions for Sea of Thieves

Cursed Sails, the next big update for the game, is coming this month.

The premiere of Sea of Thieves may amuse fans who are satisfied with the proposal and those who asked for more content, but Rare has already proven to have gotten down to work with a plan of content updates that is currently underway. And it will expand even more this year, with three more updates to be announced.

As Craig Duncan and Mike Chapman - president and CEO, respectively - explain in an interview with IGN, the unannounced updates to Sea of Thieves will follow The Hungering Deep (now available) and Cursed Sails, which will be available for download later this month. They will debut "new mechanics" that Rare has been working on and that, of course, we will have to wait a little longer to learn.

Sea of Thieves is available now on the Xbox One and PC ecosystem. Recently, its managers anticipated their intention to "give the players what they want", while maintaining the sense of surprise characteristic of Sea of Thieves.
