P.T. and Silent Hills comes true in a short based on the game canceled by Konami

The direction of the title was to be carried out by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro. Followers still regret it.

Few news will be sadder in the current generation than the end of the Silent Hills development. It was released in demo form at Gamescom 2014 under the name of P.T., and within a few hours it was the most followed phenomenon of the Cologne fair. Konami ended the game a little less than a year ago, ending players' hopes of seeing Silent Hill again in the genre it should never have abandoned.

Since then the tributes have been repeated in recent times, and one of the most interesting and curious has been that of Oddest of the Odd, a YouTube channel that has encouraged to convert everything that happens in a real image into a short the demo launched in the summer of 2014 on PlayStation 4. It brings together more than 220,000 views and they are fully justified: the result is spectacular.

Silent Hills was going to gather a cast of stars in its development: Hideo kojima, Guillermo del Toro, Norman reedus or the mangaka Junji Ito they were involved in the project.
