PlayStation 4: Full Details of Update 3.50 Revealed (with PC Remote Play)

Yesterday we announced that today the firmware update 3.50 would be made available to fans who own a PlayStation 4 and, this time, we have all the details for this revision of the software of the video game console. Sony that goes live today.
"With version 3.50 it is much easier to play with friends through new ways of connecting, improvements to existing functions and the user experience," they explain through the official PlayStation blog.
- Show Offline
In the Profile tab, the Quick Menu and the login screen, we have added a new option called 'Online status'. In it you can choose 'Show yourself offline'. This option will be useful when you want to concentrate on the game or watch a movie without interruptions. You will remain 'offline' until you decide to change the setting. Don't forget to change your status to enjoy the full PS4 experience.
- Friend Online Notification
Now you can receive notifications when your friends connect. To receive notifications, go to your friend's profile, press OPTIONS, and select 'Notify when online'. To quickly manage your friends list, choose 'Select all or Deselect all' in Settings> Notifications.
- User Scheduled Event
In the Events tab, we are going to add the ability to organize game sessions with friends. You only have to select 'Create event' to create an invitation for a game session. Choose the day, time and game, and send them to individual friends or a Group. When the event starts, users who have registered will be automatically added to a group to start playing instantly.
You can also share an event in a Community. Once shared, the event will be posted on the Community wall and members will be able to register.
You can also create User Scheduled Events in the PS App.
- Collective game
This feature allows all members of a Party to see what each is playing to easily join a friend's game or start a new one together.
- Remote use
With this update, we've expanded the PS4 Remote Play capabilities to use the feature with a PC and Mac, offering more freedom and flexibility to play PS4.
Remote Play on Mac / PC is compatible with the following system software: Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or later, OS X 10.10, OS X 10.11. You can choose between the following resolution and frame rate options, depending on your Internet connection: Resolution options: 360p, 540p, 720p, Default resolution - 540p, Frame rate: standard (30fps), high (60fps), Default frame rate: standard (30 fps). You can use a DualShock 4 as a remote control, to be connected by USB cable.
