Nintendo would like to make a new Advance Wars

Of course, they recognize the complications of their universe and the type of setting that they would be interested in addressing.

The British portal Eurogamer has had access to Hitoshi Yamagami, a person in charge of Nintendo who served as producer on three of the installments of the Advance Wars saga, and has consulted him about the possible future of the series.

"Personally I would love to continue making games of Advance wars, but it is more difficult to create relationships between these characters if we compare it with other brands like Fire Emblem, for example, "explained Yamagami.

"I also don't have a very clear idea about the kind of setting we could have," declared the veteran with credits even in the latest installment: Advance Wars: Days of Ruin from 2008 and developed by Intelligent Systems.
