Most PS4 Pro releases will not have native 4K resolution
Sony believes that most titles, at least for the first few months, will be rescaled.
Although the latest news focused on specific video games already ventured the news, Sony has confirmed, at least in its first months of life, that very few PS4 Pro releases will have the ability to natively have 4K resolution.
"I would say that the majority [of video games] will be rescaled, at least based on the collection of titles seen so far," explained Andrew House, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, in an interview with the Digital Spy portal. Is the term misleading? "No, I don't think so. Whatever the term, the question is whether people see a noticeable difference in the gaming experience or not, the place of the word used for it," he added to the questions in the middle.
PS4 Pro will hit the market on November 10. At the moment very few titles have confirmed a native 4K performance, they are the cases of The last of us or The Elder Scrolls Online for example.
