Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner steps down
The position will once again be filled by the studio's founder, Dan Connor.
During the last two years Kevin Bruner has served as CEO of Telltale games, the team responsible for such successful adventures as The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands or The Wolf Among Us, but the manager has decided to get out of the way and let someone else guide the reins of the company "to a new level."
"Today I am writing this to let you know that I will step down from the position of CEO of Telltale", can be read in an email that Bruner has sent to the employees of the study. "We have grown amazingly since Telltale was born, and now the studio is bigger than I ever dreamed it could be. There are many possible futures for the studio, and they are all exciting and uniquely challenging," continues the manager. .
"The time has come to pass the reins to someone who can better lead Telltale to the next level and realize all the potential that is here," he adds without providing the specific details that led him to make this decision. In office since January 2015, Bruner confirms that he will remain on the board of directors during this transition process.
The studio's head of communications announced shortly after that the studio's founder and former CEO, Dan Connors, will once again take up the role.
