Jonathan Blow defends The Witness from problems for those who are unable to distinguish colors

Obviously if you took a look at the Reviewed Gameplay we published a few days ago about The Witness, one of the many types of puzzles that the game of Thekla it has to do with colors, which is a problem for those unable to distinguish them. Jonathan Blow himself, the creator of the puzzle video game, has explained his position on this.
"The approach we have taken is to ensure that the game can be finished without requiring the completion of any particular area," Blow explained to the Kotaku portal, assuring that they cannot do anything to solve these problems. "Color blindness is a problem for only a fraction of the puzzles, and our design focuses those puzzles in a small number of areas so the solution is to avoid those areas."
