Hawken to shut down its Steam servers in January 2018

Its authors make no mention of the Xbox One and PS4 versions that were released in 2016.

In order to "refocus" its development efforts, the Reloaded Games has announced that Hawken, in its PC version, will close its servers in January 2018 and therefore, from that date, fans will no longer be able to enjoy the multiplayer action of this title starring imposing Mechas.

"After three great years, we are shutting down the PC servers on Steam to redirect our development efforts," Hawken authors report on their Facebook page. "The PC video game will officially be discontinued on January 2, 2017, and all DLC and paid content they will also be unavailable starting today. "

"It has been an incredibly rewarding experience working alongside such a committed PC user base. Your feedback and support is priceless to us, and the team is already looking forward to creating great games based on what we've learned from you. ".

Hawken was unveiled in the already distant year 2011 and was released at the end of the following year. Since then the title of Reloaded Games has not stopped growing with new content. For now, nothing has been said about the immediate future of the video game on Xbox One and PS4, where it was released last year.
