The XIII International Congress of Videogames and Interactive Leisure, Gamelab 2017, has confirmed today the presence in Barcelona June 28-30 from one of the industry's most celebrated creators: Fumito Ueda. The creator of The Last Guardian, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus will attend a conference where the presence of Richard Garriot, Sam Lake, Hilmar Veigar, Mike Pondsmith and Dino Patti are already confirmed.

"A Bachelor of Arts from Osaka University, Fumito Ueda has dazzled players and critics from all over the world with his particular style in which art, poetry and technology are mixed with a careful and careful fantasy aesthetic", describes the organization in Press release. "His videogames have reached the cult category and are distinguished by their artistic quality, emotional degree, simple arguments, overexposed scenarios and few dialogues", they add.

The Japanese creator will be in the Spanish city seven months after launching The Last Guardian. A work that, as we explained in 3DJuegos, "exudes love on all four sides, that touches and excites and that gives even more arguments to all those who, with total success, continue to defend videogames as another art".
