From Software insists: "The Souls saga is over"

The studio wants to do more varied experiences such as, for example, the already announced Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

The boys of From Software have gone through Gamescom 2018 to carry out presentations for the press of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and, along the way, they have left us the odd interesting headline such as a powerful interview with the British portal VG247 about the future of things like Souls saga.

"We plan to make a wide variety of different video games and fresh experiences. We are not just going to make ninja games from now on but, as Hidetaka Miyazaki told you in other interviews, the Dark Souls are over," said Yasuhiro Kitao, Head of study communications.

"That said, we want to continue making fresh experiences and just focus on the video games we want to make. Please stay tuned for more news," commented the spokesperson.

At the German fair we had the opportunity to see new gameplay of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and, in addition, our editors of 3D Games sent to Gamescom have had a chance to test it. Soon you will have our impressions on the pages of the magazine.
