Rainbow Six Siege's new patch may corrupt PS4's hard drive

Ubisoft should comment on this throughout the day.

The great Rainbow Six: Siege debuts its season 3 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with an update now available for download. However, on Sony's desktop, the patch in question may cause a bug that corrupts the hard drive, according to users on the Reddit forums. If it affects us, it will be impossible for us to access the friends list, or doing so will result in a freeze of the console.

It is hoped that Ubisoft will do something about it in the next few hours, although for now - and given the substantial number of affected users - it is recommended not to download the update. If it is already downloaded, avoid starting the game, and if you do, do not access the friends list to send group invitations.
