Call of Duty WWII will occupy 80GB on the hard drive of PlayStation 4
Almost double the Xbox One 45GB requirement.
Today, it is customary to discover space requirements that make us tremble with fear when looking at the hard drives of our console or PC. Call of Duty: WWII will be one of the most aggressive in this regard, as it will occupy a whopping 80GB, at least on the PS4 version. Comparatively, the Xbox One ranks "only" 45.
The data comes directly from the Reddit forums, where a user publishes a photograph taken from the digital edition that is usually sold in cardboard in dedicated stores. Since it is not a direct installation of the game, it is possible that it is simply a guiding requirement taking as reference the weight of the game with its DLC. It is also likely due to the weight of higher resolution textures that will be showcased on PS4 Pro, which makes sense when compared to the Xbox version considering that Xbox One X enhancements are downloaded with a separate free patch.
Call of Duty WWII launches November 3 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
