Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be more RPG than ever
"One of our priorities has been to make the new Assassin's Creed a full RPG experience."
Ubisoft has announced its intention to make Assassin's Creed Odyssey the most RPG experience it has developed to date in the Assassin's Creed series. Of course they are not big words compared to great representatives of the RPG genre, but it is something very estimable considering that the previous episode, Assassin's Creed Origins, already made strong progress in that field.
"One of our priorities has been to turn the new Assassin's Creed into a full role experience"said Scott Phillips, director of the title, in an interview with the GameReactor portal." So the progression goes beyond what was seen in the previous game, and we also give you multiple paths through which to advance. "
"We also have naval battles. You have a marine open world in which you can improve your ship and progress with it, and you have a character with which to get new equipment, introduce special benefits to suit your style of play ... So you have a choice in practically everything imaginable, "he explained the creative.
"You also have skills that help you blend into combat and that give you new options within each action scene. So you have the same basic features from Assassin's Creed Origins but are improved at the same time. Plus, we've added the concept of adrenaline as a skill within fighting. It is a combat with many facets, and all this contributes to making the game a more RPG experience. "
The franchise made headlines recently because Ubisoft has confirmed that there will be no Assassin's Creed in 2019. Prior to the release of Assassin's Creed Odyssey on October 5, 2018 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, we had the opportunity to test the video game at Gamescom 2018 and soon we will share our impressions in 3D Games.
