Everything announced for PlayStation 4, a curious experimental game that allows you to be "anything"

"The game allows you to see the entire universe from the point of view of the thousands of things in it."

"Be what you want to be." This is the premise from which Everything was born, a curious experimental game exclusive to PlayStation 4 in which the artist works David OReilly, who to date has been focused mainly on the world of cinema creating shorts and also the video game scenes of the movie Her.

What is Everything? In this work, the artist explains, "absolutely anything is a playable character; if you can see it, you can be." Also, continues OReilly, "The game allows you to see the entire universe from the point of view of the thousands of things in it," so there will be endless elements with which to interact in many different ways.

"Everything allows you to be whatever you want. If you always wanted to see what it feels like to be a horse, or a tiny clip, or the great sun, this is your game. Your main power in the game is Being (there is much more, but I'm not going to ruin your surprise) ", says the creative, who has also recognized the difficulty of shaping a game of these characteristics. "We developed a totally new way of creating and designing levels in which we treated objects more like ecosystems and something more like how they would be and behave in miniature," he says.

The intention of the game is to explore "what are things", understand how they work and how they interact. An idea that the creative already used in his previous video game, Mountain, although he acknowledges Everything does it "much more in depth and in a much more fun way."

Everything for PS4 does not yet have a specific release date.
