2016 is "a year of preparation" for Final Fantasy VII: Remake
Its producer, Yoshinori Kitase, has spoken in Japan about what to expect in the new year.
One of the minds behind the production of the remake of Final Fantasy VII, Yoshinori Kitase, has shared with the Japanese media Famitsu what he thinks of the recently released 2016. On the new adventure of Cloud and company he has shared that "I think that 2016 is a year of preparation for Final Fantasy VII: Remake". The software, which is temporarily exclusive to PlayStation 4, has no date yet, but it showed new content last December.
Regarding his expectations for the new year, he commented that he wants to find a "new value" for his next announcement on PlayStation 4, without specifying what game or production he refers to. Square Enix is immersed in a good handful of titles related to the Final Fantasy franchise. The most anticipated currently are Kingdom Hearts 3, the Remake of the seventh installment and Final Fantasy XV, of which new details are expected in the coming dates.
