Tennis World Tour release dates for May 22

The Spanish cover of the video game will feature Garbiñe Muguruza and Roberto Bautista along with Roger Federer.

Tennis World Tour, the video game presented as the spiritual successor to Top Spin 4, announced today through social networks its release date. The simulator will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on May 22. It will also do so by premiering covers for different markets, with Garbiñe Muguruza and Roberto Bautista in Spain as well as Roger Federer as prominent stars.

Parallel to this confirmation, the English-speaking portal Forbes has provided a list of the professional athletes included in the proposal. In addition to those already mentioned, we find Grigor Dimitrov, Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, David Goffin or Stan Wawrink among others on the men's circuit; for the female we have the number one Caroline Wozniacki, Angelique Kerber, Mandison Keys, etc.

At a quick glance, the absences of Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic, the William sisters or Simona Halep are striking. Tennis World Tour is being developed by Breakpoint, a studio made up of veterans in sports sagas like Top Spin, and promises to offer the player an ultra-realistic gaming experience.
