Nintendo rules out, for now, working on more Metroid remakes
In the end everything will depend on what the fans want.
Despite the good results reaped with the fantastic Metroid: Samus Returns on Nintendo 3DS, those from Kyoto do not plan for now to work on new remakes based on this veteran franchise ... although it is a possibility that they do not close sharply.
"It all depends on the reasons you have to adopt a challenge like this; on whether there is any need and motivation," said one of the parents of the saga, the great Yoshio sakamoto. "At the moment I have no plans to work on another remake," adds the Japanese creative, who has been involved in the development of Samus Returns with the Spanish team at MercurySteam.
"I think we need to invest some time to consider if the fans want more remakes, or if they prefer to go ahead with everything that implies," concludes Sakamoto.
